Potlucks are a type of meal/food gathering where instead of the host supplying or cooking all of the food, each invited guest brings one dish of their own. This is a great way to introduce variety to a gathering and also reduce the burden of the host. Ex: My friends and I decided we would have a potluck for Thanksgiving dinner. Ex: Do you wanna have a potluck dinner next weekend? I am thinking of making lasagna.
