What does "gullible" mean? Does it have the same meaning as "naive," perhaps?

They are similar but not the same. "Naive" means someone lacks the experience they need to make the correct decisions. "Gullible" means someone is easy to deceive, lie to, mislead or trick. Someone who is naive may be gullible, and someone can be gullible because they are naive, but it's not always the case. Ex: She was naive, but she still made the right choice based on her intuition. Ex: He bought that machine without making sure it works. How could he be so gullible?
