Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

To "look into" something means to do research about, to find out more about something. When the speaker says that Google is looking into introducing a wireless service, it means that it is doing research about or considering this option. Ex: My lease will be up soon, so I am looking into new apartments. Ex: Are you looking into new programs? I heard you don't like your major.
