"from time to time" and "sometimes", what are the different ways to use that?

"From time to time," "sometimes," and "occasionally" are all synonyms. You can use any of these when you want to indicate that something is done on a semi-regular basis, but not too often. Ex: I like to bike by the river sometimes. Ex: From time to time, I'll crack open a beer to relax. Ex: Although I don't travel often, I like to do solo vacations occasionally.
