"Unspeakable" does sometimes have a negative nuance, but not always! It could express great admiration as well. It expresses strong emotions either way! When it's used with a negative nuance, it means something is so bad that you can't even speak about it. Ex: There was unspeakable grief when my dad left us. Ex: I had unspeakable love for her.
