Well, it's always good to be honest because you can never be sure what and when the interviewer will check up on your information. For example, if you lie and say that you managed 10 people when you were actually an intern, that could cost you the job if you get caught. Most people will exaggerate a little bit, but make sure it is not excessive because it's unprofessional to be dishonest during interviews.
