What does "infusion of [something]" mean? In what circumstances could I use it?

Here, an "infusion of [something]" means an addition or new quality of something! But it can also mean a drink or extract soaked in the leaves of a plant or herb in a liquid. So you could either use to take about adding something to something or if you're making tea or some kind of drink or extract. Ex: The drink is an infusion of lavender and vanilla. It's delicious. Ex: The school needs an infusion of more art department resources.
