In western culture, it's more common to say your first name, and if we're asked for our full name, or if it's needed for context, then we say the full name! She hesitates before continuing and saying the full name as if remembering that she needs to do that. She gives the first name as an initial reaction and then the full name for more context. Ex: Do you need my name for the form? My name's Flynn. Flynn Ryder. Ex: My name's Rachel- oh sorry, Rachel Adams.
