I think "uncle Charlie and me" sound more natural than "uncle Charlie and I". Is it wrong to say that way?

Native speaker’s answer

There is a bit of a debate over that. Many people like to say "X and me." In casual speaking situations, it is usually accepted because this is one of the most common grammatical mistakes that native speakers make. However, the standard way of expressing this is "X and I." So you can use "X and me" when speaking, but remember that grammatically, it IS incorrect. Ex: My family and I went skiing during Christmas. Ex: My friends and I are huge fans of Justin Bieber.
