What's "open sleigh"? Is there a "close sleigh" too?

A "sleigh" is a type of vehicle specific to winter, as it is usually used on snow and ice. Because of this rather than having wheels, like most vehicles, it has runners which allow it to slide across the ice or snow. An "open" vehicle, whether carriage, cart, or sleigh, has no top or cover, which means it is "open" to the sky. While we don't refer to vehicles as "closed" vehicles we can use the phrase "open" sleigh. Ex: Let's take an open sleigh ride through the park this winter. Ex: I've never been in an open sleigh before. I'm excited.
