To "leave [someone] empty-handed" means to 'not give someone anything', whether it's physically, emotionally, spiritually and so on. So here, he's saying he has never been "left empty-handed" with this person because they always give something to him, be it love, attention, or something else. Ex: We didn't leave the party empty-handed. Here is some food for you, Sam! Ex: I felt like my teachers left me empty-handed at school without proper support.
