What's "get-go" mean? And when's it used?

"Get-go" means from the very beginning! You use it when you want to indicate the very start of something or just when something began. Ex: He was winning the race from the get-go, and then another contestant cheated. Ex: You didn't like me from the get-go. You should just never said so. Ex: I wish you had just been honest with me from the get-go. Ex: People usually don't like me from the get-go. It takes time for them to warm up to me. Ex: From the get-go, I knew this trip would be horrible.
