Native speaker’s answer

Rebecca

A "beneficiary" is one who/that benefits (from something). In this case, the speaker has spoken in a rather formal way to say that the travel industry will benefit a lot (be profitable) in the latter half of 2021 and 2022. Ex: Who is the beneficiary of this bank transfer? Ex: I named my children as the beneficiaries of my will.
