"Broke-ass" is a slang word for basically being very broke (poor). It's quite insulting to use this term to someone else, so be careful! "-ass" is an emphasis word added to the end of "broke" to emphasis it. Ex: I'm so broke this week. I did too much shopping. Ex: If you ain't got no money, take your broke ass home!
