Is there "to be" omitted before "his autobiography"?

I wouldn't say "to be" is omitted, but it works with and without it! With the omission of "to be," the tone sounds more definite. Ex: I consider this to be the best day of my life. = I consider this the best day of my life. Ex: She considered him to be her friend. But he wasn't nice to her. Ex: She considered him her friend. They had pizza night every Thursday.
