Thus, the statement "the chorus in favor of modernizing the tax system" means "the chorus [which] is in support of modernizing the tax system" or "the chorus which supports modernizing the tax system." Ex: My university is in support of increasing the number of scholarships given to students. => My university supports increasing the number of scholarships given to students. Ex: I am in favor of the lockdown measures. => I support the lockdown measures.
