I thought "due to" means "because of", no? What's it mean here?

It does mean "because of!" But, it also means as planned or expected. Indicating the time something is supposed to happen, be received, or take place. Ex: Our baby is due on the third of March. => is expected to be born at that time Ex: The assignment is due next week, so I need to start it.
