What's the main difference between a "faith" and a "belief?"

From my understanding, "faith" is believing that something good will happen, whereas a "belief" is something that you believe to be true. Although, they can sometimes both be used to refer to religion. Ex: I have faith that you'll get the job. Ex: One of my beliefs is that people are generally kind and good. Ex: I don't have a faith or belief in any religion.
