When something has a "rating," it means that it has been assessed, evaluated, or judged by some standard. In the case of the American film industry, there are a number of ratings that set guidelines for viewer age groups. They are: G for general audiences (all), PG for parental guidance suggested, PG13 for parents strongly cautioned, and R for restricted (anyone under 17 needs to be accompanied by a parent). These ratings exist because some movies may be particularly violent or explicit, so they are not appropriate for younger audiences. In this video, they have given the fake rating of "H" as a reference to these common movie ratings. Ex: You can bring your kids to watch the new Disney movie, it's rated G. Ex: My parents let me watch Titanic as a kid, even though it was rated PG13.
