Good question! If something is "underrated," it means that it's not valued or rated enough. It's more important or better than people recognize. On the flip side, as you mentioned, there is "overrated!" It means something that's valued too highly. Ex: This song is way too overrated. I hear it in every shop I go into. Ex: There are a few underrated cafes in this area. I'll take you to them!
