If something is "decent", it means that it is OK or meets the acceptable minimum standards. However, "decent" is not very good but is a little bit better than bad. This word is pretty common to use in everyday conversation. Ex: This car is pretty decent for its age. Ex: I'd like to move into a nicer apartment but for now, this one is decent.
