An interaction is an exchange (communication or contact) between two parties. For example, if your sister greets you in the morning, that's an interaction. A conversation with a coworker is also an interaction. It's always an action(s) that causes a reaction. Ex: I don't interact with my classmates much as we don't get along. Ex: I have a lot of interactions with my deskmate because we sit next to each other.
