A "ghost town" refers to a town that is deserted or has few people living there. For example, an entire town with many buildings might only have a few residents. This would be considered to be a ghost town. Ex: This used to be a bustling city. After the start of the war, everyone moved away and it became a ghost town. Ex: It is very eerie to visit ghost towns. There are many buildings and places for people to go, but no one is present.
