Can you tell me the difference between "claim", "demand" and "insist"?

"Claim" means to say something is true even if you have no evidence to prove it. Ex: She claimed that he cheated on his test. Ex: He claims that he is not responsible. "Demand" means to ask for something forcefully. To not take no for an answer. Ex: They demanded that she be fired for her mistakes. Ex: I demand to see her at once. "Insist" means to request something firmly. Ex: I insist that you come with us. Ex: He was insistent that we drive there together.
