What's "eager to" mean and in what situation can I use it?

When one is "eager to" do or have something, they really want to, or are excited to do or have it! Ex: I'm eager to learn the guitar. I'm going to sign up for lessons next week. Ex: She's eager to go home. => impatiently, really wants to go home. Ex: He's eager to get to university and start studying. => excited.
