To my understanding, "postpone" is more formal and is planned well in advance of something happening. A "delay" can be unplanned and within a shorter range of time to the event or thing happening. Ex: The airline delayed my flight by three hours. Ex: We may have to postpone the wedding by a month. Ex: Jerry caused the delay by oversleeping. Ex: She's going to postpone the event.

Why would Buttercup say "baby stories" even though Bubbles never mentioned anything about a "baby"?
Good question! So here she's not talking about actual "babies". Buttercup is saying that Bubbles' stories are "baby" like or "childish" - "babyish" in this context. She's saying that the Mayor doesn't want to listen to her childish stories. I guess since they're all children, it wouldn't make sense to call it "childish". So, what's younger than them is a baby! Ex: Don't call me "cute". I'm not a baby! Ex: That was a childish thing to do. Ex: That's such a baby way to act!

"Blow someone's cover" means to be responsible for someone's identity or true purpose to be revealed. In this video, Charlie doesn't want the doctor to find out who he is.
