An "output" is the amount of something produced by a person, industry, or machine. So, essentially, when there is an "input" of energy, resources, time, or something, there will be an amount of something generated or produced - an output. It can also be the energy, data, or power from a device! Ex: The company decided to increase their output for the year. Ex: Computers can output a lot of data.
