Isn't it supposed to put "however" at the front of the sentence? Why does it come in the middle of the sentence?
"However" can be placed in the middle of a sentence like it is here (between two commas) to "interrupt" the sentence and imply that what was said before "however" contrasts what was said in a previous sentence or in the rest of the sentence. Another way however can be placed in the middle of a sentence is to combine two sentences that contrast. If "however" is used in this way, it needs to be proceeded with a semicolon (;) and followed by a comma. Ex: Autumn is my favorite season; however, I also like spring. ("However" used to combine contrasting sentences) Ex: I usually wear makeup, however, I am not wearing any today. ("However" used to imply contrast in a sentence) Ex: I love camping. What I don't like about camping, however, is the bugs. ("However" used to contrast what was said in a previous sentence)

However, a "funeral" is when the body is present during the service, a "memorial service" is when the body is not present. Ex: That was a beautiful memorial service. My great aunt would have loved the stories told. Ex: It was hard to see the casket at the funeral service. But it was good to be there.
