Kiwi asks…

What does "frustration" mean? Does it imply a strong tone?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

"Frustration" is the feeling of being angry at or not satisfied by the state of something. In terms of strength, the expression carries a medium tone. Someone who is "frustrated" has self-control, but they are not happy and would like something to change or for something not to have happened. Ex: I'm frustrated that you canceled our reservation without asking me. Ex: I can't stand the frustration I feel at work, I need to talk to my boss about it.
