So this line can be understood in two parts! "Silver linings" refers to something positive that comes from something negative. And "pure gold" metaphorically refers to the quality of something being amazing. So it can be read as: the positive things from the terrible situation were absolutely amazing! Ex: There has to be a silver lining in this horrible situation. Ex: Your voice is pure gold when you sing!
