What's "physiological" mean? Is it like a medical field?

"Physiological" is an adjective relating to the medical field and biology branch "physiology!" It has to do with how the body works and the normal functions of living organisms. Ex: I'm reading a physiological book. Ex: My brother is studying physiology at university.
