"Right" in this case is an adverb used to emphasize the exact location of something. It has a similar meaning to "exactly", "directly", "precisely", or "just". Ex: Have you seen my glasses? I set them down right here and now they're gone. Ex: My mom is sitting right over there. Ex: The pens are right over there on the table.
