Does the word "mum" is only used in the United Kingdom?

The word "mum" is said in the United Kingdom! But It's also used in New Zealand and Australia! It's not really used anywhere else, though. Ex: I'm going to visit my mum in Australia this summer. Ex: My mum called from the UK this morning.
