Kiwi asks…
When can I say "keep your distance"?
Answer from a Native speaker

Rebecca
"Keep your distance" means "stay far away". Therefore, you can use "keep your distance" to tell someone to stay away from you or someone/something else. Ex: Keep your distance, I'm sick and I don't want you to get sick too. Ex: That dog bites, keep your distance!
