I see the word “some” here, but why does “research” in singular form?

"Research" is used because it does not have a plural form. In English, "researches" is not used. When using the word "some," the noun after it should be plural if it has a plural form and if it does not have a plural form, use the regular form of the noun. Ex: Some people have pets. Ex: I have some money with me.
