In the past, "toodle-loo" (or "toodle-oo") was a slang expression used in the United States to mean "good-bye." "Toodles" is a shortened form of "toodle-loo." Now, these expressions are rather ourdated and neither of the two are used much. Nowadays, "bye bye," "adios," "see you (ya)" and other expressions are more commonly used. Ex: Toodles! See you next time. Ex: See ya soon!
