Why is it "all the answers," not "the all answers"? What is the difference?

"The all answers" is grammatically incorrect. When "all" is used with "the", "my" or "this", they should be added at the back of "all", not the front. Adding determiners like "the", "my", or "this" will further specify the phrase. When determiners are not used, "all" is regarding the phrase in general. Ex: All dogs like to eat chicken. (Talking about dogs in general) Ex: All my dogs like to eat chicken (Specifies the dogs that I have) Ex: All the dogs in my town like to eat chicken. (Specifies the dogs that live in town)
