There are slight differences between the pronunciation of "wander" and "wonder." "Wonder" is pronounced with more of an "uh" sound, to become "wunder," whereas "wander" sounds more like "w-awn-der," and your mouth opens more to pronounce the "aw" sound.

I am unsure what it's like in other countries, but in the United States, students are enrolled in certain classes, and teachers will have a list of their students for each specific class. Bella may need a pass to show her teacher that she is enrolled at this school and that she is supposed to be in this class at this time.
