Since the word "Earth" refers to the specific planet, shouldn't you use the preposition "the" in front of the "Earth"?
Earth, as well as other planets like Jupiter, Venus, and so on, are referred to without "the." If you were to use "the" in front of "Earth," it would mean that you were referring to the ground or dirt, which is also called earth. The moon and sun are referred to with "the," however. Ex: This is the best pizza on Earth. I wish everyone could try it. Ex: Earth is only one small planet in this galaxy.
