Can I use just "now" instead of "right now" here?

"Now" and "right now" have slightly different meanings. "Right now" refers to "this exact moment in time", and refers to a short period of time. "Now" also means "at this moment", but in a more general way, and implies a longer period of time. Ex: I need to do my homework now. ("Now" used in a way that is not urgent) Ex: Get over here right now, a car is coming! ("Right now" used to express that action needs to be taken at that exact moment)
