"Even though" is a conjunction that is another way to say "though" and means "although" or "despite the fact that". "Even though" and "though" are nearly identical, but "even though" places a bit more emphasis on "though" and comes across as a bit stronger. Ex: I am hungry even though I just ate. Ex: He wants to go on vacation even though he is trying to save money. Ex: Even though the dog is small, he has a loud bark.
