Can the word "crew" be both verb and noun? I thought it was used as a noun in the front.

Great question! "Crew" can also be used as a verb, meaning to serve as a member of a crew on a ship, plane, train, and so on. Ex: The yacht was crewed by a team of five people. Ex: As a flight attendant, I crew on 10 flights every month.
