What's the difference between "sweet-talk" and "brown-nose"?

"Sweet-talk" is when you praise or talk to someone sweetly to persuade them to do something for you. "Brown-nosing" it is when you are trying to please someone of a higher authority or position to get them to like you more than other employees or peers. Ex: He is such a brown-noser. He always does everything the boss wants. Ex: Are you sweet-talking me so that I'll buy you something? Ex: Jim is always brown-nosing her so he can get the new vice president position. Ex: He is such a sweet-talker.
