student asking question

Why is "me" used in the first sentence? Can I use "I" instead?

teacher

"Me" is at the beginning of this sentence because the speaker is not using correct grammar. Generally, "me" does go at the beginning of a sentence because it is an object pronoun. You can say "I teach" instead, but a more complete sentence such as, "You want me to teach?" would be more descriptive and clear.
