Here, "stinks" is slang for "not good" or "lame". He is telling Flynn that his dream isn't great. Using "stinks" in this way is informal, and often used by children to replace a more vulgar word like "sucks". Ex: Why do you like that movie? I don't like it, it stinks. Ex: Doing homework stinks, I hate homework.
