The phrase "spick-and-span" means that something is clean and tidy, or spotlessly new. It is similar to the expression "good as new". "Spick-and-span" is an older phrase to use so it may not be used as commonly today, however, it is still a fairly common expression. Ex: I just finished cleaning the kitchen and it looks spick-and-span!
