What's the difference between "pantsuit" and "suit"?

"Suits" and "pantsuits" are basically the same thing. They both a formal attire that consist of a blazer, a button-up shirt or blouse, and dress pants. A "suit" is worn by men; "pantsuits" are worn by women. You see pantsuits mainly worn by businesswomen or politicians.
