"Pollen" is a powder that is made by the male part of a flower, that causes the female part of the flower produce seeds. It is usually carried by insects or the wind. As in this clip, it is actually common for people to be allergic to pollen (common referred to as hayfever). Ex: The pollen count today is very high. Ex: There is a lot of pollen in the air today.
