We use the idiom "go through a phase" to talk about being in the middle of a temporary period of change, development, or uncertainty. Grizz is saying he thinks that Ice Bear's behaviour is temporary. We can also use "go through a phase" to talk about a temporary period of interest in something. Ex: I went through a phase of being obsessed with superhero movies last year. Ex: He's been really mean and grumpy lately, but I think he's just going through a phase.
