"Marked-up" means to raise the price of a product; the price is higher than what it would normally cost. In airports, the price of food is "marked-up" than what you would normally see at a grocery store. Ex: This bike is marked-up way too high. Ex: I'm not buying this! The price is marked-up. Ex: It seems as though everything in this store is marked-up.
